"The Point" Resort
Sefano.
Mission Beach, Cairns.
"The Point" is a 5-star hotel development located on the headland above Mission Beach. Stages 1 and 2 provide 48 rooms in exclusive bungalow style accommodation, with stage 3 comprising of 50 individual villas arranged in groups around poolside courtyards. The landscape treatment provides a lush tropical character that forms the backdrop to several large “totems” that are a feature of the resort. The totem sculptures, which are based on a primitive Pacific island theme, were specifically commissioned for the project.
Sansara Residential Resort
Queensland.
A resort style development blending 120 apartments and 4 beach-front bungalows, of 6-star quality, into an ecologically sensitive beach protection zone.
The landscape treatment involves incorporating the residential development with associated commercial, retail and business precincts into the surrounding sub-tropical bushland with a minimum of impact on existing fragile ecosystems.
This project has necessitated significant liaison with the Queensland Environmental Protection Agency, Parks and Wildlife and a thorough review of landscape design methodologies in conjunction with the regional Coastal Management Plan.
Nara Bora Bora Resort
Narah Tahiti.
Bora Bora, Tahiti.
Comprises of a five-star resort on the island of Bora Bora with bures and water-based accommodation with a Tahitian theme.
Hope Island Resort
Shinko Pty Limited.
Hope Island, Queensland.
A five-star integrated resort development including: a hotel with recreational, retail, commercial and residential precincts. A high-quality water based theme has been adopted for the resort. The development of the resort is to be staged over a ten-year period.
Kai Kou Golf Club and Resort
Pacific Accord Company Limited, Taiwan.
Xiamen, Peoples Republic of China.
Contract administration and design & development landscape documentation for Soft and Hard landscape works around a 36-hole golf course with associated residential and Clubhouse precincts. This project was undertaken in association with Greg Normal Golf Course Design.
